Daniel Codorniu
Daniel Codorniu Aloy nació en Palma de Mallorca el 28 de junio de 1943. Se licenció en Bellas Artes en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Sant Jordi de Barcelona en 1963. Posteriormente pasó dos años en Sidi Ifni, norte de África, realizando la Servicio Militar. A su regreso a España obtuvo el título oficial de profesor de dibujo. Daniel Codorniu es un excelente dibujante y maestro tanto en la técnica de la pintura como en la composición del color. Es un maestro de la pintura. Y todavía está vivo. Actualmente vive y trabaja en su estudio en Palma de Mallorca. España
Daniel Codorniu Aloy was born in Palma de Mallorca on June 28, 1943. He was graduated in Fine Arts at the Superior School of Fine Arts Sant Jordi in Barcelona in 1963. After that he spent two years in Sidi Ifni, North Africa, doing the Service Military. Upon returning to Spain he obtained the official title of Drawing teacher. Daniel Codorniu is an excellent drawer and master in the technique of painting as well as the composition of color. He is a master of painting. And he is still alive. Pintor y dibujante nacido en Ciutat de Mallorca en 1943. En 1959 trasladó su domicilio a Barcelona. Fue alumno de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Palma y de la de Sant Jordi de Barcelona.
Desde mediados de los años 60 concurrió a certámenes de pintura de Pollença, Barcelona, Palma, Tàrrega, Felanitx, Santanyí, etc., resultando varias veces premiado. Paralelamente expuso en muestras individuales y de grupo celebradas en diversas poblaciones mallorquinas, Barcelona (Gioconda), Terrassa (Arxiu Tobella y Mobar), Sitges (Agora-3, 1979), Palma (Jaime III, 1980), etc.
Predominan en su obra los temas de contexto marinero, pintados con pronunciados contrastes de color y un luminismo vibrátil y de raíz mediterránea.
